FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What do you sell?

We sell fertilized hatching eggs only. We do not sell live chicks, started birds, or eating eggs.

Do you offer local pickup?

No.
All orders are shipping only. This allows us to standardize handling and reduce variability.

Are hatch rates guaranteed?

No.

Hatching eggs are a living product, and hatch success depends on many factors outside our control, including:
• shipping conditions
• incubator accuracy
• temperature and humidity management
• egg handling after delivery

For this reason, we do not guarantee fertility or hatch rates.

How fresh are the eggs?

Eggs are collected from active breeding stock and shipped fresh based on availability and shipping schedules. Eggs are properly stored prior to shipping to maintain viability.

Why do eggs need to rest after arrival?

During shipping, eggs can be jostled, turned, or exposed to vibration. Resting eggs 12–24 hours, pointed end down, allows internal structures to settle before incubation, improving hatch potential.

What should I do if eggs arrive damaged?

If eggs arrive visibly broken or crushed:
• contact us within 24 hours of delivery
• include clear photos of the damaged eggs and packaging

Documented transit damage will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Do you replace eggs that don’t hatch?

No.
We do not replace or refund eggs based on hatch results. This is standard practice for reputable hatching egg sellers due to the number of uncontrollable variables involved.

What incubator do you recommend?

We do not recommend specific brands or provide incubation troubleshooting. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly before placing eggs.

Are your eggs washed or sanitized?

No.
Eggs are not washed or chemically treated. Washing can damage the natural protective bloom and reduce hatch viability.

Who are hatching eggs best suited for?

Hatching eggs are best for:
• breeders
• homesteaders
• educators
• prepared first-time hatchers

If you are looking for guaranteed outcomes, purchasing live chicks may be a better option.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be canceled and refunded before shipping if eggs have not yet been allocated. Once eggs are prepared or shipped, cancellations are not possible.

Final Note
